Black is beautiful. Resources to learn and unlearn.

As a brand, we know how important it is to demonstrate where we stand and show our support to the black community. We are aware of how disappointing it is that it took us this long to write this post, but we promise that moving forward, we will make it our mission to be even more inclusive in our messaging. We will continue to align with organizations that are making a difference for human rights causes.

Along with personal donations that we've made and are continuing to make, for the next two weeks, 10% of all our sales will go towards Black Lives Matter Toronto & Reclaim the Block.

How to Make a Further Difference:

If you would like your voices to be heard, we encourage you to research your local politicians, see how you can stay active in your communities and be sure to VOTE because every vote counts. Spread the word, attend protests if you can and please don't remain silent. Do the inner work required to build your personal power and the ability to understand the privileges that exist within our realities. These privileges come from NO merit, simply from circumstances some of us were born into by chance. In the future, when we are asked about 2020 and what we did to make a difference, how will we respond?

If you have resources that you think we should add to this list, please email us at hello@ateliersarishabeauty.com
